Shalyn Monahan: Shalyn, a senior stylist, has been doing hair for 20 years. With experience as a previous salon owner, Shalyn knows how important clients are and is very passionate in her work and listening to what her clients want. Shalyn takes pride in her extensive training in color, to include Lanza, Kemon Coloro and Wella, as well as her advanced training in "Big Sexy" formal styling. Her accomplishments also include advanced education in cutting techniques. She is certified in Brazilian Blowout and Simply Smooth hair treatments and makes it her mission to find the perfect treatment for your hair type. Shalyn is a huge asset and brings so much talent and professionalism to Salon Sorella.

Susanne Staal: Susanne is a master stylist with over 40 years' experience in the hair industry. As a color expert we rely on Susanne for corrective color work as well as producing outstanding results in coloring and foiling. Susanne's commitment to the industry keeps her busy with ongoing education to adopt the latest trends and ever-changing styles. She is affluent in many different color and product lines and has an ability to formulate the right fit for each individual need. Susanne also specializes in the trendy short hair styles. She brings a lot of experience, knowledge and professionalism to Salon Sorella.

Kelley Overton: Kelley has many years of experience with a solid reputation in the industry from color, foils and cutting. Her enthusiasm makes all her clients feel so comfortable in her hands and if you are unsure of what you want Kelley has the knack for knowing what style and color would best suit her clients by their personality, face shape, and their hair type. We are thrilled to have her reunite with our team.

Kelly Andrews: Kelly joins Salon Sorella with 8+ years of experience. A graduate from South Eastern Technical Institute, Kelly specializes in vibrant colors, highlighting and Balayage. She is also an expert in corrective coloring. Her other talents include sew in weft extensions, tape in extensions as well as keratin and I tip. Kelly remains up to date on all the latest hair trends. She is quite an asset to Salon Sorella with her energetic personality and passion for beauty. Kelly takes pride in her work and strives for perfection with every client.

Madison Holmes: A graduate from Tri-County Regional Technical High School in the cosmetology program Madison has worked her way from assisting at Salon Sorella since the 7th grade to a fully licensed stylist. With over 3 years of experience, she excels in blonding and Balayage. Her other talents include make up, facial waxing and natural nail services. Madison's spirit and passion with hair will certainly transpire into great success. We are extremely excited to have her at working for Salon Sorella as a junior stylist.

Renee Vargas: Renee is a graduate from Rob Roy Academy with over 20 years of experience. Renee continues to invest in her education by attending a wide range of classes, keeping up with all the current trends in the industry. She is a master with color and holds a certification in Brazilian Blowout, perfecting the hair smoothing techniques. Her talents also include the skill in advanced cutting. Renee strives for perfection and takes pride in her work.

Siena Gomes: Siena is a graduate for Aveda Institute of Rhode Island with a passion for all things beautiful. Siena continued her education in skin care at Catherine Hinds Institute of Esthetics. She holds multiple certifications and specializes in balayage, a hair coloring technique that paints on color for a more natural and blended look. Siena's talents include eyelash extensions in which she creates beautiful, flawless lashes, customizing a natural or dramatic look with your desired length

Adriana Della Camera: Adriana, our new and upcoming talent, is a recent graduate of Toni&Guy Hairdressing Academy. As she begins her journey, we are confident, her bubbly personality and grand smile will carry her far. Adriana's main focus will be on blonding and balayage techniques. She holds a certification in Brazilian Blowout. She will continue to educate herself on currents trends using these specific skills.

Mali Cohn: Mali is a graduate from Tri-County's Adult Ed. Cosmetology Program bringing 10 years of experience to Salon Sorella. Her enthusiasm and passion are exemplified in all the services she offers, to include coloring, foiling and her outstanding cutting skills. Mali is an excellent asset to the Sorella family.

Lash Specialist

Madden Farmer: Madden is a graduate from Tri-County Adult Ed. Cosmetology Program with over 4 years of experience. Madden is a 2x certified lash specialist. Her art in lash extensions include classic, hybrid, volume and mega volume. Skilled in all these areas as well as, lash lifts and tints, waxing and brow laminations. With her cosmetology experience she offers stunning blow-outs and hopes to soon offer more hair services in the near future.

Nail Technician

Debbie Morrison: Debbie has joined Salon Sorella with over 35+ years of experience. A graduate from Henry O. Peabody School in Cosmetology her skills include natural polish manicures, gel polish manicures, acrylic nails, pedicures and facial waxing. Her professionalism and expertise are a perfect addition to Salon Sorella.

Owners

Jean Carmignani and Carol Colella: These girls opened Salon Sorella in 2008. After years of working in the industry, having such passion for the field, the two decided to start their own venture. The name Salon Sorella, meaning "sister" in Italian, was chosen because the owners themselves are twin sisters. Life long residents of Franklin the sisters are well respected in this community which helps contribute to the success of their business. Both Jean and Carol have a real love for their work and this industry. They both strive day to day to maintain a friendly, pleasant environment for not only their clients but also their employees. Jean, raising a family of 3 and Carol a family of 5, are dedicated to this business, devoted to their staff and proud to be the owners of such a successful Salon.
